In April 2026, Erlangen transforms into the hotspot of Latin American passion. Workshops and shows in Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba will excite both beginners and professionals. As a highlight, the salsa band Chacán from Mainz and top DJs will set the stage on fire – across three dance floors: Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba. Spring, passion, dance – the SBK Festival 2026!

Salsa Bigband “Chacan” from Mainz
The salsa orchestra CHACÁN pays tribute to the salsa pioneers of the 1950s to the 1980s, passionately, respectfully, and gratefully interpreting a selection of the most beautiful — and once thought lost — salsa classics from that golden era.

• The SBK party starts after the workshops at 9:00 pm

Location: Stadthalle Erlangen (Heirich-Lades-Halle), Rathauspl. 2, 91052 Erlangen
• The SBK party starts at 9:00 pm with three dance areas for Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba
• Show from 10:30–11:00 pm in the Salsa area
• Salsa live concert "Chacan" starting at 11:00 pm in the Salsa area

Their dynamic and expressive sound is characteristic, revitalizing vintage and old-school repertoire – including mambo, boogaloo and salsa – and encouraging the audience to dance and join in.
